Focus on Geriatric Pharmacotherapy

The North Simcoe Muskoka Specialized GeriatricServices (NSMSGS) Pharmacy Community of Practice, in conjunctionwith GeriMedRisk, presents our fourth annual Focus on Geriatric Pharmacotherapy conference. 

This session will be of interest to pharmacists whosepractice involves older adults, as well as physicians, nursepractitioners, RNs and other team members with an interest inmedication management of older adults.  

The program includes: 

• recommendations for managing insomnia in older adults with case examples 

• discussion of complex drug interactions in older adults 

• a review of the new statin deprescribing guidelines 

• new studies of importance in older adults
