A Focus on Geriatric Pharmacotherapy

The North Simcoe Muskoka Specialized Geriatric Services Pharmacy Community of Practice in conjunction with GeriMedRisk presents our third annual Focus on Geriatric Pharmacotherapy conference.

This session will be of interest to pharmacists whose practice involves older adults, as well as physicians, nurse practitioners, RNs and other team members with an interest in medication management of older adults.

The program includes:

• an interdisciplinary panel discussing a complex deprescribing case
• a review of once weekly insulin in older adults
• recommendations for vaccinations in older adults
• discussion of the impact of climate change on older adults
• new studies of importance in older adults
