![]() Sandra Easson-Bruno joined the North Simcoe Muskoka Specialized Geriatric Services (NSM SGS) program in March 2016 as the inaugural Director for the new program. In her role, she provides leadership and oversight to the planning, implementation and evaluation of all aspects of the program including the leadership team, clinical services and the education strategy. In her role she builds collaborative relationships, champions quality care and advocates for programming, funding and system change. Full bio |
Dr. Kevin Young - Physician Lead |
![]() Dr. Kevin Young is the physician lead on the SGS Team. He moved to Orillia in 2012, returning to the area where he grew up, to take on the role as one of the area’s few geriatricians. After the closure of Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital’s Geriatric Day Hospital, he opened a Care Clinic to help provide care to the elderly in the Orillia area. Dr. Young will be working to advance Ontario’s Seniors Care Strategy locally. |
Lorraine Smith - Vice President, Corporate Services, Waypoint |
![]() Lorraine Smith is Vice President, Corporate Services at Waypoint Centre for Mental Health Care and the Program Sponsor for NSM SGS. At the start of her career, Lorraine worked as a nurse for the Victorian Order of Nurses and then in public health before turning to more administrative roles. In 2003 she joined the Mental Health Centre Penetanguishene, now Waypoint, as a Clinical Liaison officer. She acted briefly as the Forensic Operations Manager before accepting her current position. |
Tamara Nowak-Lennard - Clinical Manager / Clinical Nurse Specialist |
![]() Tamara Nowak-Lennard joined the NSM SGS program in spring 2016 as the Clinical Manager / Clinical Nurse Specialist responsible for professional development and organizational leadership, evidenced based best practice and educational activities. Prior to joining the NSM SGS program, Tamara held a variety of positions throughout the NSM health care system with her last role being the NSM Regional Seniors Clinical Nurse Specialist. Full bio |
Annalee King - Manager, Behavioural Support Services |
![]() Annalee King is the Manager, Behavioural Support Services assuming responsibility for the overall management and day-to-day operations of BSS, now a component of SGS. Annalee brings extensive experience in management, knowledge and passion for geriatric care. Until she joined the SGS team Annalee was Team Leader for Central Intake at Waypoint Centre for Mental Health Care. Susan French - Communications |
![]() Susan French joined the SGS program on a part-time basis to assist with communications, website and online collaboration platforms. Prior to joining SGS, Susan was employed with the NSM LHIN for 10 years in a variety of roles, most recently as Communications Lead. Prior to that Susan was employed by Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare (Algonquin Health Services) as Executive Assistant to the CEO, Board Chair and Chief of Medical Staff. |
